Easy Street Around Block B!

I had a chance to sew today super close to my mom and dad's place!  Turns out Jacki lives about two miles from my folks (an hour north of me) so I got to see mom and dad and visit my sister and her friends and spend some quality time sewing at Jacki and BJ.
I added to my 16 block A's today!  I sewed up block B (nine of them) and though there wasn't much unsewing, I was quite confused over whether the second row and the forth row were the same upside down...I knew they were, but still I was SO confused about four times.  Finally with the help of a few friends and a lot of laughter I got them done!  What an accomplishment, I don't think I have ever made blocks with 25 units.  This is not an easy street for me---it was more of a twisty, windy, road with a few dead ends but I enjoyed the journey anyways!  Bonnie sure has helped me develop skills in sewing!
I had to lay a few of the blocks out to see what it will look like together..but I ran out of oomph to sew it into a quilt top and get the borders on.  Maybe tomorrow?  LOL we will see.

Here is Kathy with her first block A...she has six of them done.  Jackie was finishing up her step seven and I think BJ was getting to her step 7.  It was nice to sneak in a little sewing with them!  Since BJ and Jacki are the new charity challenge chairs for the PHXMQG we were able to get in a little shop talk too!
On the way home I told Kathy...I feel so blessed.  Thank goodness for sewing, and for quilty sewing buddies!

How blessed you all are to be able to laugh and sew along together! Your colors look so good -- gosh everyone's does and they are all 1 of a kind :-) Ok I found out I've got 4 missing Block A's?? Maybe 1 of my cats carried them off, but I can't get to the end if I don't have them! Enjoy your family and friends.
