After work today I spent about SEVEN hours in the quilting studio sewing up block A. Seriously...all sixteen blocks are done! I had a few little unsewing sessions, and one fairly extensive one (I turned the two black and white bricks the wrong way on half of the strips or so...UGH!) but other than that it all went splendidly. I had good company...both in person, on the phone and on Skype at various times so that made me persist or I would have stopped long before all sixteen got done. Here are most of them stuck up on the wall.
Tomorrow I plan to sew block B of which there are only nine...and assemble the top--at least to the borders if possible.
Kathy has three more side triangles to do on clue seven...tomorrow she will begin block A too! Thanks again Bonnie K. Hunter for an awesome mystery!

Dee
I have all my edges done and six Block A's. It feels like a marathon, but hope to get it together before I return to work on Monday.
So easy street isn't as easy as it sounds? It looks great though, congratulations on powering through. It will be worth it when your quilt is done.
I haven't even done the easiest step of all.........6. Maybe I will get 6,7, and 8 done this weekend.
Looking great Andee!!!
Yours are looking good Andee.
My fabrics are cut for this & I laid out one of each b to see how they would be. Later today I hope to sew up the triangles. This final step is heavy duty labor so it might take me a while, I have the little boy next week! and 3 days of rehab.
I think we've all had a litle bit of unsewing done on these. Last night I had a whole row turned around on 14 of 15 A blocks I was working on. Today I will conquer the 9 B blocks and the top together at least by the night. Good luck to you too.
I've spent much more than seven hours on those blocks, so you're hauling! Good work!
You are making great progress on Easy Street, love see it together. I'm still working away sewing all the units together. It sure is a beautiful design.
