Loving the Blue Sampler Blocks!

I arrived home from work ready to eat some dinner and tackle the three blocks I had left to go on the Rainbow Scrap Challenge BLUE blocks!  I got this book in the mail, autographed and everything that I won on facebook!  The author wrote "Greatfall" which I loved and I am really excited to read this one!  Thanks Jason Gurley! *edit* Finished the book in less than two days.  It was  great read!
And here are my Blue blocks:

ROMAN STRIPES

PATIENCE CORNER

SNOWBALL

HALF SQUARE TRIANGLES and ATTIC WINDOWS with the rest
I really think these cute little blocks are addictive!  If you cannot resist click on over to SoScrappy and get started.  They have all been really quick so far!
And in response to reading Angela's latest post about reorganizing her scraps I thought I would tell you what I do with mine and how Angela gave me that little tiny push I needed to reorganize a bit of mine!  I follow Bonnie Hunter's Scrap Plan.  I do not know what I did before I had it!  Underneath my ironing board you can see a bunch of different colored bins.

In each of these bins there is a divider.  In the front of the bucket are the 2.5 inch strips that match the color and in the back are the fat quarters, or small chunks of fabric in the matching color.  My bigger yardage is folded and on shelves mostly by color too.  Two of the bins (light green and the hot pink) don't have the color in there, but instead of bags of labeled strips organized by size and not be color.  I find it to be a bit of a pain to dig through them when I need a different strip size.  So Angela's Reorganization post got me to thinking that now is as good a time as any to sort those strips by color.  I don't have that many to do, but I find it to be a lot of work anyway, so I am going to take my time and reorganize each color as we go through the Rainbow BOM!  So blue is now done and and I know I am going to like this system even better than the one I was using!
Here you can see the front half the bin and all the bags on the floor and this last picture the bags are all in there according to size for future easy use!
Hmmm, now what should I sew next?

Wow! So much going on at your house. Great blocks! I can't believe you have them all made already. Doing each color as we come to it sounds like a brilliant plan. One color down. Next?

Love the organization. Did you buy the bins with divider included. I have similar bins but they are just one vast space.

Nice fabrics. I like your scrap bins. I have stacked boxes and it's such a hassle finding anything.

I'm jealous of your organization. I try but never quite get there. I think I produce scraps too quickly and don't want to take the time to sort them out!

I agree - those 6 inch blocks are addicting.

Friends All Around!

I added twenty more blocks to Friends All Around.  It is now big enough to go on the back of the couch for a summer quilt.  I think the top ...
