New Year's Eve and New Year's Day Mystery Options!

There are so many mystery quilt options for New Year's Eve and New Year's Day this year.

Cuts and Bolts should be doing a NYE mystery which I plan to do this year.  I did not join in last year and loved BJ's quilt.  So I am on it this year.

Here are my fabric picks for Debi Montgomery's Mystery Quilts Anonymous.  This one starts on NYE at 2 pm my time which is NYD her time.  I am not for sure I am doing this one yet, but pulled fabric in case.  She has a webpage and a facebook page if you are interested.

I will for sure do Merry Mayhem (along with Barb, Becky, and BJ) on NYD.  The info is out for prep work so I need to get going on that.  It is scrappy so I have not picked any fabrics yet. Edit:  Here are my fabrics.  I used the floral to pick my fabrics so it is controlled ish scrappy.  Looking forward to it!

Another NYD option is the Stitchin Heaven mystery quilt.  Last year they paired with Craftsy and the quilt had a zillion hst's.  It was not a one day type mystery.  Not sure if they have improved this year, but info for cutting is already out.  I will be sitting this one out unless I love it and then I will do it down the line.

Are you doing any of these mysteries?  Do you know of any on NYE or NYD that I have missed?  Happy Sewing!

Indigo Way Gets Going!

I changed my mind about my colors for Indigo Way several times, but in the end I wound up with brown, cheddar, and indigo.  The first clue had Bonnie using indigo, and I followed suit.  Made about two thirds of the parts before I realized her indigo is my brown!  Oops, so I then started over and made all of the clue in brown.  You may remember I did this once before with a clue in En Provence!

I made two more Christmas stockings.  These are for Wren and Chava, I think!

Here is one of my Rainbow Scrap Challenge tops.  I did not have the same amount of each color in this size, and I did not lay them out ahead of time (room is too small) but I like how it came out anyway.  May add a border to it eventually.

I had leftover green and red stars so I started a Christmas table runner.
Super excited to be doing the Secret Agent Modern Quiltalong in January.  I ordered the transparency fabric line and am super excited for this one this year!

Halloween and Indigo Way Fabric Picks!

Hazel wore my daughter's Little Red Riding Hood costume for some of her Halloween activities this year (she was Wonder Woman too).  So fun to see her in it.  Hannah wore this one when we lived in Maryland and she was almost three.  This year we stayed home and passed out leftover Halloween goodies from when I was teaching.  We had quite a few kids.
I cleaned through a bunch of Kathy's sewing stuff and since she is not sewing much these days, I added the fabric to my sewing stuff and sewed up her partially done top.  This is made with terrible black fabric from before we knew what we were doing.  Likely to use it for the dogs or something because the black should have been tossed.  She already had it sewn on though so I finished putting it together.
Quilted and bound my little witch.
Did the November Quilting Life BOM too.

Picked out my fabric for the Quiltville 2023 Mystery--Indigo Way. Fun that my granddaughter's name is in this year's mystery!  I am sure I am going to regret these colors since Bonnie has two shades of blue in her and I should go with two shades of something ( I am using brown and orange for that) and also will be confusing that I am using blue where she has red (since she also has blue).  The last time I tried that I made an entire clue in the wrong colors and I still have those parts since I had to redo them.  Really need to find a quilt to use them in!

Hodpodge!

On Easter we went to Hannah and Jeremy's.  I got a semi good picture of Hazel and I...she tends to not want to pose when I have makeup o...
