I thought I would show you a bit of my quilting studio! This is the floor to the left of my chair (over the railing is the living room) and my current project has its home there--RRCB of course. In the four containers underneath RRCB is Smith Mountain Morning waiting for some action and all organized.
The ironing board is just abover the stuff on the floor. An old microwave cart has a few UFOs in it (seriously I don't have many) and some stash on it as well as WIPs in the containers on top. I know there is one with Eye Spy, one with the Rainbow Nine Patch and Snowball blocks, one with my Dad's shirts, one with Civil War little wallhanging not even cut yet, and that is all I can remember though I just looked in them all recently! Under the ironing board is my sister's Crown Quilt (not yet cut) and Quiltville Pineapple Blocks and Quilt History Blocks from this past year which need sashing and finishing up. In the tall blue and clear bins is my fabric that isn't cut into any system though now there is one drawer of light strings. Goal is to get all of this stuff either folded nicely like the rest of cut into strips and organized. Baby steps!
This shelf has books and magazines and patterns as well as my stash. I feel like it is huge (I used to not have one at all!) though the fabrics are only two deep on the shelf and it is nothing compared to most in blogland. I am thrilled with it anyways. I want to use what I have, though I have a hard time cutting into some of the stuff I have. On the left you can see a clear set of three drawers. These are well organized into strips following Quiltville's directions. Very useable and I love it!
I managed to sew after work and completed the four blocks that were in progress so I now have eleven done (19 to go!) I am fairly happy with them.
Today was a great mail day. I won this awesome pattern from Weeks Ringle and Bill Kerr of Funquilts! I think they are so talented and really enjoy reading Weeks' blog. This win was from her book tour. The pattern is really nice and sturdy. Gonna have to make one of these!

Also in the mail was my other gift from DJ! I had to have this fabric collection after seeing it on the FatQuarterShop blog. I am so into orange and grey...and I wanted some brights so I picked out the Jelly Roll.
I am not showing you ever dishcloth, but I wanted to show you I have improved now that I have made a ton. I gave away four to my fellow Leo birthday celebraters at lunch on Saturday. This one looks much better!
I finished up my syllabus for ASL 3 tonight and rewarded myself by blogging after. Now on to the task of getting my packet of handouts to match my syllabus. I am off work on Thurs. and Fri. this week (so that I can get done work stuff I need to get done for teaching) but I may get some sewing time out of those days yet!

Thanks for the tour - I always like to see how other people set up their space! You're so productive! I think I might be jealous of that jelly roll too! LOL!
