Seeing Pink and a Giveaway!

Here is the Rainbow scrap challenge Trash to Treasure Pineapple block in pink.  I have to remember to use a scant quarter inch on this block or it won't be big enough!  I made a note in my book (on a post it) so next month I will remember that part!
Meanwhile I made three different Valentine's Day Mug Rug blocks!  One for me, Bonnie and Kathy.
The last block I made was the first one to become a mug rug!
I also made the Four Corners block in pink.  Quick and easy, my kind of block!
I then took a pink from seeing all that pink and kitted up "Playing with Jacks" for the Bonnie workshop which is coming up fast!  I had a hard time deciding on a color...had almost decided to go with the original read when I realized that I could use my modern fabrics and do it multi colored!  No idea how it will turn out, but stretching myself a bit (word of the year is STRETCH) and it is all kitted up and ready to go!
Here is Kathy's Celtic Solstice so far...she has been working hard on getting it together!

I found myself with two extra magazines...I bought one and won one and I subscribed and bought one of the other one...so since it has been forever since I had a giveaway I thought now was the time.  If you want to win these two magazines just comment and tell me if you have ever made a Quiltville quilt and if so, which one is your current favorite.  If you haven't you can tell me that too, but I hope you go check out Quiltville.com and find a new favorite!  Bonnie has a block in this 100 blocks magazine too!
I will choose a random winner for the drawing on Wednesday!  Good luck!

I follow Bonnie's blog, but I've never made any of Bonnie's quilts. I've got a couple on my bucket list though :-)

Yes! I've made and handquilted RRCB and Orca Bay. The tops of Celtic Solstice, Lazy Sunday, and Easy Street are waiting patienttly in the queue. I've made five other quilts from her books, too. But probably not as many as you!

Hi,

I am just starting my first Bonnie quilt-Mountain Majesties using plaid shirting. My grandparenting often takes precedence so it might take a few months to finish. Love a chance to win the magazines. Thanks, dian gdavidhoffman@yahoo.com

I love all the blocks you've made. I haven't done a Bonnie quilt yet as scrappy quilts scare me. I'm plucking up the courage slowly though xx

Hello, and thanks for your generosity.
I love Bonnie Hunter's practical applications and quilt designs. I have made 3 of her mystery quilts and leader and ender challengers.
Love all my blogging sites and learn so much from them.

Great, your hexies. Enjoy your workshop with Bonnie; it's not your first I know, but how many have you been to?

Celtic Solstice is my one and only Bonnie block, and it's not finished. Of course it's my favourite to date. If I have enough pink scraps I'll make Cotton Ball - I have the book already, or crab apples, I think that's fun too.

not yet but it's on my list

I've got three Bonnie tops ready to quilt - Easy Street, Story-Time Stars, and now Celtic Solstice. (I obviously need to do some quilting!) I have completely finished one called Leapfrog, which says on the pattern "Designed by Bonnie Hunter, Quiltmaker", but it is not on Quiltville, so maybe it is a different Bonnie?

Forgot to mention Scrappy Trip around the World, which I've also done. And my favourite (for now) is Celtic Solstice!

I have never made one of those quilts. I am new to quilting but am enjoying learning something new everyday. Thanks for the chance to win. I have also featured your giveaway on my giveaway round up @ wowilikethat.com. Hopefully it will generate some traffic for you. Thanks again.

I am new to quilting and I have never made a Quiltville quilt, although I have been reading an article there on organizing fabric scraps.

In June, I wrote an article for a new online CFS Magazine debut but somehow it did not make the debut. I am not sure if the editor plans to ...
