City Sampler Progress

Tonight I sewed up block 11 and block 12 of City Sampler.   Linking up!

Here are the first dozen blocks.  Quite a wild, unruly bunch!

I finished up the orange lozenges tonight too.  48 orange, and one black in this stack but for some reason I had a half a dozen that were a quarter inch too small width wise.  I must have sorted them into the wrong bag and didn't notice when I was cutting.  I kept them separate..I am really close to the 405 I need to have a whole quilt top of these....cannot wait!
Today at Weight Watchers I gained .4 (dang it all, so close to 60 pounds, ugh!) which really sucked, but we bought a new cookbook that has lots of great recipes in it and I worked out an hour on the bike and 20 on the elliptical today so I am off to a good start for next week!

Great job on the weight loss - hey it was only .4 and not a pound! You are doing great. Can't wait to see all those lozenges into a top.

I have recently discovered your blog and am so impressed with your determination and positive attitude. While I think you look great at any weight, it is inspiring to see the effort you put into your goals.
And the quilty inspiration is great, too!

I wish now I had made the bigger size lozenges but most of my scraps are of the 2.5 size.

Oh, and I love the color in the sampler.

It will be fun to follow along on yet another project of yours.

Great progress--I made blocks 11 and 12, and then was having such fun that I kept going through 16.

That WW book looks great. And what progress you have made! I signed up last week--online--which has worked well for me in the past, but I still haven't actually started. :(

Friends All Around!

I added twenty more blocks to Friends All Around.  It is now big enough to go on the back of the couch for a summer quilt.  I think the top ...
