This morning I took a photo of State Fair outside in the sunshine so I just have to post another picture of this one...sure hope Mom likes it.
Well I couldn't stop at just one...so I kept on going. Here it is all laid out and looking festive.

I think I will be sewing some stars on this one so you will see it again, but I love how it has come out! I was going to sign up for the Friday Night Sew-In but had trouble signing up earlier...so I did my own sew in...maybe next time!
Tried watching some movies after work, but the first one was awful and we gave up and the second one turned out to be one we had seen....so I took that as a sign that I should run up and sew. I have been thinking using the first little charm pack I got for Christmas to make this cool tablerunner that this gal blogged about.
So since Carol inspired me I decided to give it a go. Here is the first block. Went together so nicely while I finished listening to "The Constant Princess" by Phillipa Greggory.

Stars sound like a great idea!!! In the setting triangles, I assuming?
And regarding the Sew In----you didn't miss it! It's NEXT Friday---duh me!
LOVE the brightness of the County Fair! There's someone I know of in Wisconsin that will like it in the event your mother doesn't :0)
