Tablerunner, Placemats and Lunch with the Online Gals

Last week I went to my first Make It and Take It class at The Cutting Edge Quiltshop. We made these cute santa placemats...didn't quite finish in the two hours alotted, but got them done this weekend. They will be a Christmas gift.
Last Saturday went to lunch with three gals from my online Quilt-Talk group. Nancy in back in the Halloween shirt, June in the green, BJ behind me and I am in the darker pink. We went shopping to a fabric store and had lunch like last year when Nancy was in town. Different store and different restaurant, it was great fun!

You may remember way back when I had done this Running Amok tablerunner mystery...I finally quilted it on my machine myself and was happy with it! Went around the stars the way I would draw stars simply and it looks fine.

Also sewed down the binding while watching some TV. This too will be a Christmas gift though no idea to who...the colors limit me a bit--not everyone is going to like this one, but at the time I thought they looked great...the back has the fruit ladies on it and I almost like it better than the front now!
Also bought backing and borders for Christmas Lights. Kathy helped me cut up another quilt top for camp from Atkinson Designs--the name of it escapes me right now. And I sewed up some more coasters and potholders. So things are getting done around here!
