Here is Kathy showing off her Celtic Solstice quilt. It is huge! We still need to get it quilted!
I added another long row to Coleman's Moth in the Window quilt, still working on a few more rows to add to it.
Here is the newly quilted (by Barb) Florabunda! I need to get this one bound and then I am sending it to Margie!
This is Nines Surrounded (Bonnie Mini) which isn't quilted yet. I saw Becky's and had to make one myself!
This is Ring Around the Hexies. Bonnie saw this one in progress in Tuscon, so I wanted to show it to her all done. This one is hanging over our bed and makes me smile everyday!
This is the Scrappy Trip Around the World. Not sure where this one will go, just got it quilted (by Barb) and it may wind up on our couch which means the dogs will love it to death.
Today Bonnie had me come at the end of the Cathedral Stars workshop to pick up the books and such to haul them to the next class--one less thing for her to do and I am happy to help her out. The bonus of that was I was able to see all the AWESOME blocks that the gals at today's class made and even take pictures of the group.
Bonnie's Cathedral Stars quilt is stunning! I have added this one to my list--the list that goes on and on!
Look at all the awesome blocks people made today! There are batiks, southwest, only red and white with some black, brights and everything in between. I am so glad I got to see them!
Meanwhile while they were sewing away with Bonnie, I was at the library in a private room sewing with Becky and Suzy! They were working on cutting up and kitting a quilt they have wanted to make (one for each of them) for a long time. Becky went out and picked up Jimmy Johns for us for lunch and I prepped for Pineapple Blossom and cut sashings for Happy Scrappy Houses, then I put the top together!
You can see the sample block (which Suzy admits is all wrong value wise--they are doing theirs with that in mind) and all the stacks of stuff they were cutting!
I am SEW excited to spend the day with Laura (and Bonnie) working on Pineapple Blossom tomorrow!
