Grand Illusion Clue Two!

I have been plugging away at clue two since Friday night.  I love all the fun neutrals I have collected in the past few years and am putting them to use in clue two.

I did *all* my cutting Friday night, but it turned out I only did half!  Here are my first ten--but took me awhile to realize it was really only five since I hadn't sewn them into blocks!
So here are the first ten and this was when I realized I had not done all my cutting!  I am using method one and they are coming out pretty good as long as I take my time and measure alot!
Thirty done!
Clue one and part of clue two together.  Loving the colors!
Pretty sure that cutting the notch off helps me to place them better, not sure why, but I did that toward the end (half have the notch off already, but the others didn't).
And finally everything is cut and fifty blocks are made!  Over halfway through this clue!
Linking up with Bonnie over at Quiltville for the Mystery Monday Link-Up Two!
Kathy is still working on clue one.  She has lots of hst's in progress and one block done!  She is doing Bonnie's colors and is taking her time.

Looking good!

I don't tend to buy "Bonnie neutral" fabrics because they don't appeal to me on the bolt. But they do look great made up into quilts, I have to admit!

Looking good! Your colors are coming together nicely...is that more of a grey you are using? I like it!

I have been in a "neutrals" collection phase for a couple of years now too! I am addicted! I love that "rooster" neutral you have! Thanks for making me salivate all over my keyboard! Your clue #2 is looking great!

I missed the part about sewing the rectangles together too! You do have some gorgeous neutrals and I love your blacks too. I definitely need more of both in my stash.
