Some Grey Going On!

I made the second of the grey blocks for Jack in the Box, my SoScrappy Rainbow Scrap Challenge.  Here is a picture of all the blocks but not the pinwheel border.  It is still pretty small so trying to decide if I should make more blocks or add sashing or what...

Love the soft grey blocks. You jack in the box block together loo great. I love the blocks with out sashing. Can you make more if you really need the quilt bigger. maybe have to use your idea for next year.

I like this quilt more every time I see it. Definitely worth the time it will take to make enough blocks to get it to be a good size.

This came out so nice. I agree with Angela - worth the time if you want it bigger. I added sashings to mine to help with the size.

Looking great so far Andee. When I was working on mine yesterday, I also was wondering how I was going to put everything together. I liked the unique sashing that Angela did on hers last year, so I'm thinking of that. I'm also thinking of trying a "kiddy-wompas" setting by adding some triangular sashings on each side (ending in a larger 12"(?) square).

I also realized; I never made my orange JackinBox blocks. Maybe I'll tackle that today :)

What about a cream sashing with a mini scrappy coloured pinwheel for the cornerstones?!? That would be so cool!

Very pretty, I like Kathy's idea, sashing with rainbow pinwheels for the cornerstones. Reading your profile, I used to be more a piecer (I could just sew blocks forever) so I bought a longarm, now I finish a lot more and help others to finish as well. A new stage in my life, it feels good to complete the quilt.

Friends All Around!

I added twenty more blocks to Friends All Around.  It is now big enough to go on the back of the couch for a summer quilt.  I think the top ...
