Bitty Block Houses

I have barely been out of bed all week, but a few days ago I did sew up two little bitty block houses in Packer colors just so I could get out of bed for a few minutes!
Here are the bitty blocks so far.
I didn't work all week, went out to the doctor and WW yesterday.  I gained 5.2 pounds which must have a whole lot to do with the iv fluids because I sure didn't eat much.  It has been a hard week all around and I have been hosting my own pity party.  I cannot wait to get back to real life and feel better so I can get back to all I need to get back to.  Linking up to the Rainbow Scrap Challenge!
Hopefully I will feel up to sewing at some point this weekend and that will cheer me.

Oh no. Never fun when you are not feeling well or feeling like doing much. Hope you are feeling a little better this weekend to maybe fondle a little bright yellow fabric to make you feel better.

Oh gosh that is a brutal week. I had my gallbladder out about 30 years ago and was never so happy to be rid of something in my whole life... you will feel so much better now (after you recover from the surgery and get your strength back). Take good care of yourself and enjoy all the nurturing from loved ones :)

Try to look on the bright side... you felt up to sewing ANYTHING this week! Take it easy and you'll be stitching up a storm before you know it. :o))

Sometimes it's good to say, "Poor me." Life doesn't always go the way we plan and no one I know plans on being ill. Get well soon. Great little bitty house blocks. Do you live in Packer country or are you just a Packers fan.

As much as you don't want to fall off the WW wagon, you deserve a bit of grace until you get back on your feet again. Recovery is slow, but it will come. Baby steps! Glad you found a bit of energy to sew.

Such cute house blocks.
I think you need a little spring weather. Actually, most all of use needs some spring weather.

I'm late getting around to comment so hope you are feeling better by now. I think those bitty blocks are so cute but I resisted although I think those houses would be a neat scrappy project. Maybe next year for me...if I remember.

I know what it is to lose time and energy to your body's needs - no fun! I hope things are getting better.
